Chaos in brain function
The newly emerging field dealing with the analysis of chaotic attractors in the brain is covered in this volume. The contributions are written by pioneers in the field and span a wide spectrum of research ranging from invertebrate ganglia to human brain, to pathology and magnetoencephalography. The book specifically includes introductory remarks to this field, a survey of chaotic dynamics describing progress on evoked oscillations of the brain, both at the cellular and EEG levels, and an agenda for research on chaotic dynamics which points out necessary steps in the future.
