Seriously, why is this book included in the Medical - Opthalmology category? I feel like my astigmatism is getting recovered just by reading this wonderful medical research! It is not an ideal choice to read this book for nurturing sense of connoisseurship, however, this would certainly bring an shift in your "type" of vision and visuality, which redefines the concept of connoisseurship itself. Unlike many think these authors are anti-formalist, this book is about form, of course, but in more expanded field of art history. This book is about mainstream art theories today, of students of Greenberg and Fried, but they are somewhat deviant from their teachers. A good choice for intermediate level reading, especially for junior and senior visual studies major college students.
