Are you missing half the story about the last days? Virtually all attention these days is focused on the coming Antichrist--but he is only half the story. Many people are amazed to discover in Revelation 17 that there is also another mysterious character at the heart of prophecy--a woman who rides the beast.

Who is this woman? Tradition says she is connected with the church of Rome. But isn't such a view outdated? After all, today's Vatican is eager to join hands with Protestants worldwide. "The Catholic church has changed" is what we hear.

Or has it? In A Woman Rides the Beast, prophecy expert Dave Hunt sifts through biblical truth and global events to present a well-defined portrait of the woman and her powerful place in the Antichrist's future empire. Eight remarkable clues in Revelation 17 and 18 prove the woman's identity beyond any reasonable doubt.

A provocative account of what the Bible tells us is to come.

Test what you read by the Bible
I have heard Dave Hunt on his teaching of the seven hills of Rome. In reference to this verse: Rev. 17:9 "This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven
hills on which the woman sits." The seven hills of Rome are not mentioned in the Bible by name, so to assume that is what this verse refers to is totally wrong. The seven heads on the (fourth)beast must correlate with the prohecies of the first three. You can see that by the body of a leopard (Alexander of Geece), the feet of a bear (Media)and the teeth of a lion (Babylon). The seven heads are the second part of the third beast(leopard)with four wings. The rest of the riddle of the fourth beast--"Five having fallen" is Alexander and his four generals. "One is" is means alive in reference to Satan and sin. "The other has not yet come" is in reference to the fourth beast. He has not yet come but when he does he will remain only a little while. Daniel 11 is a history of two of Alexanders generals and reveals that the one who will become the fourth beast is Syrian (the kingdom of the north or Seleucid dynasty that is dead but will come back to life in the fourth beast.)He is the little horn sprouting from one of the four horns on the goat Dan. 8:9.
We must be careful not to interject things that are not clearing spoken of in the Bible. And by the way the ten horns of the beast are the ten nations with which Israel had played the harlot. They are spoken of in detail in the OT, whereas Rome is not. From prophecybythebook

I read this book many years ago. It is very well documented with historical accounts, which authenticate the author's own conclusions and assertions. If you couple this with the scriptural support ... Read full review
