About the author (1993)

Jorge I. DomA-nguez is the Frank G. Thomson Professor of Government and acting director of the Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. His many books include Democracy in the Caribbean, also available from Johns Hopkins.

Pastor is professor and director, Latin American and Caribbean Program at the Carter Presidential Center, Emory University.

Worrell is deputy director of the Central Bank of Barbados.
