Exodus - History Reveled
Fills in an area of history I was lacking, also provides a frame work by which one may start to understand today's Middle East tensions.

Racist filth
If you're interested in reading about "stupid", and "stench filled arabs", if you're interested in a book with a main Jewish character threatening to blow up Jewish children because he
doesn't have any other "weapons" to use, then by all means - slake your thirst for Jewish chauvinism by reading this polemic.

Love it every re-reading
I have this book in paperback and have re-read it several times since I was a child, and love it more each time. I don't generally read novels, especially historical novels
, but this brings with it a human connection and makes me feel like I'm actually there, fighting their battles, feeling their fear, overcoming their obstacles, and rejoicing in their joy. I saw a friend reading it and saw him suddenly start smiling and laughing, and I knew exactly what part he was up to, because I also started smiling and laughing at that part, and it's hard not to. It reads easy, is fast paced enough for a short-attention-span reader like me, yet has enough depth to make this a fantastic read.
