The world in perspective: a directory of world map projections
Provides formulas for 68 different cartographic views of the world. The Directory proper is preceded by a theoretical introduction about map projections. The description of each projection system is accompanied by one or two maps illustrating the deformation characteristics, allowing quick evaluation of its merits and effective use of the map for a particular purpose. All maps shown have been produced and computed with the formulas given in the book.
