About the author (2002)

Claire Llewellyn is a prize-winning author of nonfiction for young readers. In 1992, she won the U.K.'s prestigious Times Educational Supplement Junior Information Book Award. Since then she has written more than one hundred children's books, including two previous "Ask Dr. K. Fisher" titles.

Kate Sheppard is the successful illustrator of more than one hundred children's books. The quirkier the books the more fun she has with her drawings.
