About the author (2012)

Kathy Borrus is the former buyer of the Smithsonian Institution.  Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and other publications.  She lives in Washington, DC.

Jorg Brockmann's photographs have appeared in American and European newspapers and magazines and have been exhibited in group and solo shows in the United States, Switzerland, Italy, and France.  He currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.

James Driscoll is a self-taught freelance photographer.  He lives in New York City.
