Jimmy Randal Grant writes about Louis Budenz and his marrige to Ms. Giess, and her step daughter "Louise". He cites a NY Times Article in Sept 1931 whereby Louis Budenz and "Louise" (at age 14) were arrested for picketing.
Louise was my grandmother, who spoke of Louis Budenz. She was born in Indiana in 1917. Her parents died and she was adopted.

Great History of Communist Party's rise and fall in the USA. Control from Mother Russia dashed the hopes of the author for a new way to help the down and out workers here in the US. Lessons can be learned by all. Never too late to correct our sails.
