The focus of this book is the Byzantine emperor Leo VI (886-912) and his reign. He has been characterised as a careless and ineffectual emperor, but this work presents a more considered account of Leo and the politics of his age.Initial chapters on sources and the broader historical context are provided before particular aspects of Leo's life and reign are presented in eight chapters, arranged so as to give a rough chronological framework. Subjects discussed include relations with family and officials, imperial ideology, and ecclesiastical and military affairs.By drawing on a broad spectrum of primary evidence the book illustrates that Leo forged a distinctive imperial style as a literate city-based non-campaigning emperor, and argues that he was actively concerned about the problems that faced his empire.

This Book is very interresting but It must refer to the origin of Amorites /Canaanites the( 4th Canaanite/Hamite People Ref(Gen 10)). this should mark the origin Of the Amorites people in the history of manKind who Initiated The Global Modern Beyzanthia ."Eg Rick" (greek)"Younan" .Hellenic states. three different names for the same people/land.what is the differance between these Titeles???& Where they came from,bearing in mind that the explainations takes us to the same origins. "Eg ricks" are Illeagale descendents of the Canaanites from local femals accordind to Ashtar Law & Younan are the children of Youna the Eldest son of Hila the Canaanite father of the Hellenics 3thd millenium . Hila & Youna are pure canaanites who sailed to this New land Called Now Hellenic states Searching for the metals.& established themself there before Cadmous 14BC Who brought the Canaanite Civilization, Mainly the Canaanite Alphabet to the people of that Land called the Hellenic land Or land of Youna-n (n=plurals) Or later the land of the "Eg Ricks" this Happend after Alexander The Macedonian Ref to chapter II Macedonian or Amorian .Zeuos the father of the greek Pantheon is the Son of Cronus Called "El\God" or The High in the Canaanite Tong Later from Bibelos/"Gubal"Northern Coastal City of Actual Lebanon the Phoenicians are the descendents of the amorites/canaanites /Hamites .
