He stole a kiss from the wrong girl... Left without a soul, 17-year-old Dariana Sanders waited to die. There was nothing left to live for, nothing to feel besides the aching cold that never stopped. Her parent's marriage was in shambles and her brother, the only one who understood, the only one who knew how to make the cold go away, was gone forever. The only thing Dariana knew with absolute certainty was that nothing could possibly be right again. Enter Lewis Axel Nialls. Luckily for her, impossible is right up his alley. He can save her from the forces that wish to destroy her. Of course, who's going to save him, from her? Hotblood is a Dark Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance set in a modern day Eastern United States small town where Dariana's parents took her and her brother to protect them from the intrigue of their mother's family, the House of Slide. Unfortunately, things don't always work out quite the way you plan, even if you are an obsessive compulsive Wild like Dari's mother. Dariana hasn't had a soul since her brother took it a decade ago, to keep it safe, of course. Her brother died. Instead of following him safely to the grave as everyone expected, Dariana stole a Hotblood's soul to stay alive. That might have been a mistake. Dariana Sanders is a girl who wakes to consciousness at 17 and finds that she must navigate a dark paranormal world, high school, first love, and the uncontrollable passions of a stolen soul.
