A great read. Moers takes the reader in numerous episodic 'lives', each one a different adventure. While the story and plot can be a bit dragged out (or even nonexistent) the writing is top-notch. Read it like an autobiography, or a demibiography, and the lack of plot will seem normal.
A delightful book! It really comes off as a children's book with a high vocabulary. It was funny and enjoyable and I mostly loved it. I think I have a few friends who might like this - though it is a little long. The illustrations actually add to it, too, surprisingly.
