our old copy of Unger's Bible handbook was about 30 years old and in paperback. i bought this updated hardback version for my husband and we both love to read it. i like the larger book and the color pictures too. it is packed with information. Read full review

About the author (1998)

Merrill F. Unger (1909-1980) received ThM and ThD degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and a PhD from Johns Hopkins. He served in pastoral ministry and later taught at Gordon Divinity School and Dallas Theological Seminary. He is perhaps best known for his classic study and reference volume, Unger's Bible Handbook.
