Basketball is played throughout the world, but it was all about Illinois when I played in High school. I was fortunate enough to go on to college and earn a college degree, but basketball in high school is still exciting regardless of where it takes you. From the stories that's written about in this book, the reader can really get an good idea about some of the things basketball can do for a person's life.

About the author (2009)

I played on the Public League championship team in Chicago in 1972. I earned a B.A. degree in Sport Science and a M.S. degree in Physical Education. I'm still a fan of basketball, and I work in the sport whenever I have the opportunity.
