About the author (1990)

Matthew Stadler is the author of four novels, Landscape: Memory, The Dissolution of Nicholas Dee, The Sex Offender, and Allan Stein. He writes for The Stranger, Spin, The Portland Mercury, and Frieze Magazine. He has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Whiting Writers Award, the Lambda Literary Award, and the Hinda Rosenthal Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters for his work. He is the Lliterary Editor of Nest.
