About the author (2004)

Wachsberger is an author, artist, and landscape designer. He writes a gardening column for North Fork Country newspaper. He has received the Garden Writers Association Garden Globe award for best book illustration. He has twice been the recipient of Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation grants, for writing and art.

James is a nationally known team, with fourteen books and hundreds of magazine articles to their credit. James is a popular lecturer on garden subjects and in 1988 was knighted by the king of Belgium for his writing on Belgian gardens and architecture.

Ted James Jr.'s critically acclaimed books on gardening and landscape design include "Country Gardening,"
Harry Haralambou's garden photographs have won numerous awards.
