Pocket Full Of Posies  is a must-have for gardeners as well as for those who just like a good read. It is chock-full of information ranging from ilex to Iraq, from blueberries to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, from Adam and Eve’s perfect Garden to the flawed and funny flowers of exotica. You will find yourself saying, “I didn’t know that” or “Wow, that’s interesting” on almost every page.

Sandra Silver takes the reader to the obscure, the hidden, the unexplored places related to gardening. The book is a celebration of the mind and of the earth in all its complex glory.
