All time favorite book, Have read 15+ times and always pass along to people in need. Def my beliefs on this move we call life. If you are ready to learn and grow then this is the book for you.

An amazing book, not one that you can read once and truly understand. I Dont know if I'll necessarily ever will. I get insight though every time I read it.

I love the beginning because it presented a life (similar to Jesus) in a way that is fresh and easy to understand. It was easy to get into the book. Unfortunately, the preview doesn't include this, and it's one of the best things about the book.
My mom kept the quotes in frames about our house growing up. And we still refer to them from time to time. This was one of the first books I read that opened my eyes and began an in-depth spritial journey. It gently presented the idea that perhaps all of this is illusionary and that life is just a stage to learn. I think the original publish date was in the 70's? 1978 or so?
I wish it would go back into print. It's a good way to introduce deeper spirituality and questioning to teens.

The first chapter alone is worth the price of this book. A very interesting take on the messianic theme.

This book is the perfect gift for anyone 15-25 (fine for older people too, but it's a very important book to read when you are still forming your worldview). It's a fun read and it will make you think. I didn't put it down until I had read the entire thing when I was about 15.
This book would be a great stocking stuffer, summer reading book, birthday present, or graduation present.
