About the author (2004)

Raised in a family in the catering and restaurant business, Matthew Locricchio began preparing and enjoying home-cooked meals at an early age. He has spent many years as a professional cook, and he has acted in movies, on stage, and on television and has written plays for young audiences.

Jack McConnell is an award-winning photographer who has worked for Fortune 500 clients across the United States and Europe for over 30 years. He frequently exhibits his personal photography in New England, and donates photography services to many arts and human services groups. Jack makes his home in Wethersfield, Connecticut, but in the summer can be found on his tugboat in Islesboro, Maine.
