One hundred mouthwatering, illustrated recipes--including scrumptious Grilled Beef Salad, Chicken Satay, and Herbal Spicy Lemongrass Soup with Coconut Milk and Galangal--marry classic Thai cooking traditions to a modern, quick-and-easy style. The menu is wide-ranging, from appetizers to desserts, and many of the dishes come with suggestions for alternative ingredients. Triple-Flavor Chicken Wings have a sweet and tangy flavor that's unique and appealing. Steamed Mussels with Herbs make a perfect light lunch or supper. Have the Duck Fried Rice with Garlic as a meal on its own, or use it as a side dish. All the products needed to make them are easily found, and there's information on the basics, including utensils, herbs and spices, and techniques such as stir-frying.
