This is a good, short view of Quebec history from the point of view of a separatist in the 1970s. It is a bit of (though not a big) eye-opener that defends a more radical Jacques Parizeau-style of truly independent Quebec, and in that sense it is a gratifying read for the anglo Canadian. I would be curious to see what the author's more recent views on the subject are, and will look them up.
