About the author (1986)

Born on August 2, 1950, Grant Fjermedal is author of The Tomorrow Makers, a nontechnical book surveying work in robotics and artificial intelligence. His other works include Magic Bullets, Adventures In Space Simulator: The Ultimate Desktop Astronaut's Guide, and New Horizons In Amateur Astronomy. Fjermedal, a noted writer and futurist, has also worked with software developers to bring about a realistic space simulation program for the personal computer.
