This book shows how, during the 20th century, evils such as totalitarianism, tyranny, war, and genocide became indelibly linked to the fascist cause, and examines the enduring and popular appeal of an ideology that has counted princes, poets, and war heroes among its most fervent adherents.

"World Fascism" is a simplifying book, that not even can differ German National Socialism, or NAZISM from common Fascism. To cite "The Concise Encyclopaedia of World History", Chapter 20, by John F.Plamenatz, Part V, page 485 (beginning at the last lines of the left column) - (Nazism = it) "it differed from Fascism in its furious hatred of the Jew and the Slav and its faith in racial superiority, and also in the intencity of its contempt for the Christian virtue of charity. In Fascism there was a larger element of fraud, in Nazism a much larger element of fanaticism"
I would also remind of ALL fascistic regimes that has ruled different nations after 1945.
Spain until 1976, Portugal until 1974, Greece 1967-1974, Argentine 1976 - 1983, Chile 1973 - 1991, Paraguay, Panama, Haiti (Papa Doc and Baby Doc), Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador.
Books that this - and similar, serves no true or good purpose. They are eighter deliberately misconceptive for hidden reasons, or not aware of history of ideologies.
By f.i.Overy, Knopp or Liljegren instead !
I give it one doubtful flag for the timelines. Everything else are eighter not properly sourced or obviouslly wrong and it's full of misconceptions.
