About the author (2005)

Chuck Wills is the author of numerous books on American history. He was editorial director for DK Publishing, Inc., and international and co-editions editor for Rodale Books International. Most recently he wrote Destination America, a history of immigration published as a companion volume to the PBS series of the same name.
