Whether true or false, that the elections of 1980 were widely rigged, doesn't make any difference and above all was not to be taken as a passport to launch a war against the internationally acclaimed and democratically elected government of the time. Moreover if such a war was to be declared it was the losers to do so not a total failure who himself had failed to even secure a seat in parliament. This clearly underlines the fact that Dictator Museveni was not fighting for Ugandans as he claims but for his stomach and personal aggrandizement as it now appears clearly. It was a war that was fought out of greed and selfish interests of certain criminal elements, Museveni being the leader of such criminals.

Book was great when it first came out. Hopeful and inspiring. YK Museveni was everyone's hero. Unfortunately the author/president of Uganda has disappointed many. The hero in the book and the man of today, el persidente (for life?), are totally different. Too bad.
