Presses polytechniques et universitaires romandes, Aug 1, 2005 - Photography - 224 pages
Architect and propagandist of the modern movement, Alberto Satoris assembled a remarkable photography collection of modern architecture, published in part in two anthologies that have since achieved mythical stature: Gli Elementi dell'architettura funzionale (Elements of the functional architecture) and l'Encyclopedie de l'architecture nouvelle (Encyclopedia of new architecture). These photographs document the architectural works from around the world, including Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius, Oscar Niemeyer and Luis Baragon, photographed by the best specialists of their period, such as Arthur Koster, Julius Shulman and Armando Salas Portugal.
