I just built a new home last year on an acre of land with varying slopes and space and was quoted $15,000 for landscaping. I decided to do it myself over time...this book is one of the best I've ever picked up mainly because it is specific for Texas. The layout of detail is great for the home gardener including renderings and real pictures of so many plants for so many situtations around the home.
