About the author (1979)

Leonard J. Swidler is Professor of Catholic Thought and Interreligious Dialogue at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he has taught since 1966. He is the cofounder and Editor of the Journal of Ecumenical Studies. He is also founder and Director of the Institute for Interreligious, Intercultural Dialogue and cofounder and Director of the Global Dialogue Institute.
