DR. DAVID LUDWIG is an associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, as well as director of the Optimal Weight for Life (OWL) Program at Children's Hospital Boston, one of the largest clinics for overweight children and their parents in the United States. His groundbreaking research has been the basis for some of the most
successful diets of the past decade, including the South Beach Diet
and SugarBusters.

SUZANNE ROSTLER is a dietician at the OWL clinic. She received a master's of science in clinical nutrition from New York University.
