While reading this excellent book about the early advisers in Vietnam I discovered that Dan Ford met my brother Wesley Hoch. After Wes got home he wrote a book Dai Uy Hoch: "A Legend In Remote Seas". His book is a sequel or continuation of Dan's book, "The Only War We've Got".
Wes was an adviser to the Junk Force Navy on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.
He came home a national hero.
