Very good tasting! Most recipes have short list of ingredients and are thus really cheap. The recipes make a lot of food so leftovers are easily frozen for weeks to come. Many of my favorites from this book are very close to being vegan just by default (check out the beans section). And it isn't too heavy on the soy or any "meat" substitute like seitan. Beans, legumes, grains and vegetables form the base of most of these dishes. Follow the recipe exactly, buy fresh produce and good basics like a good tasting olive oil and you cannot fail with these recipes! THANK YOU ROBIN!
