A very enjoyable read, mixing humour with murder very cleverly, with an extremely amiable Mrs Pargeter as the main character, I will definitely look forward to reading more books by Simon Brett. :) Read full review

About the author (1989)

Simon Brett is the author of over thirty mystery novels and seven plays. He worked for BBC Radio and London Weekend Television before becoming a full-time writer in the late 1970s. He is married with three children and lives in Arundel, Sussex, England.
