Traces the fate of Marie Bloch, born in 1871 in Rostock. She was a kindergarten teacher in Rostock between 1893-1938. She and her brothers received a Protestant education, but in 1935, with three Jewish grandparents, Marie was considered 75% Jewish. The number of families who continued to send their children to the "Jewish" kindergarten declined gradually. In March 1937 the last four children left. From November 1938, Bloch was no longer allowed to practice her profession. She was deported on 11 November 1942 to Theresienstadt, where she died of starvation. Pp. 74-89 contain testimonies of friends on the fate of Marie Bloch. Pp. 90-99 include facsimiles of documents.
