About the author (1989)

Emmy-award winning actress and "New York Times "bestselling author Roseanne Barr started her career in stand-up comedy before landing her own long-running hit TV series, "Roseanne", on ABC (1988-1997). She has returned to stand-up comedy over the last few years and blogs regularly at roseanneworld.com. She is a frequent guest on "Real Time with Bill Maher" and lives in Los Angeles and on her nut farm in Hawaii.
