About the author (1976)

Jonathan Schell is the author of "The Unconquerable World "and "The Fate of the Earth," among many other titles. The Harold Willens Peace Fellow at the Nation Institute, he also writes for "Harper's," "The Atlantic," "Foreign Affairs," and Tomdispatch.com. Currently he is a senior visiting lecturer in international studies at Yale University, where he teaches a course on the nuclear dilemma.
