About the author (2000)

Anderson was born in Fullerton, California, and is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach with a lifetime credential in physical education. Anderson is married to Jean Anderson.

Anderson has a B.A. in art from California State University at Long Beach. She was the typesetter, illustrator and editor of the first edition of Stretching. She also designs, hand-dyes and knits multi-colored wool hats.
