Research and innovation: a record of the Wolfson Technological Projects Scheme, 1968-1981
This concise report recounts the thirteen-year history of an experimental foundation designed to help bridge the gap between academic researchers and those in industry responsible for establishment of the Wolfson foundation, the author considers the insights that the experiment yielded into product and process innovation, and the services that can be provided for industry. This brief history will be of interest to policy makers in industry, government, or the university.
