About the author (1995)

John Warnock received his Ph.D from the American University, Washington, D.C., School of International Service. After working for the U.S. State Department, he taught political economy at both American and Canadian universities, most recently at the University of Regina. He is assistant editor of Briarpatch Magazine and a long time political activist.
