This book is down to earth as possible about the Vietnam War, it takes you through history from someone that walked the life as a USMC sniper . The author Jay Taylor uses his life's experience to explain what he and others went through. Jay Taylor has included maps, pictures , and soldiers that fought along side of him. He has also include my brother , William Larry Mott as a chapter heading and explained the times they spent in Vietnam. The promise that Jay and my brother kept , has been fulfilled, Jay visited my mother in Jeffferson City , Tennessee , October 24th 2008, and brought closure to his promise. The promise being if one of us gave our life, one of us would go tell the other parents what happened . Jay Taylor and Chuck Butler were together when they visited my mother. That is a long way from Albuquerque, New Mexico to deliver a message , almost 40 years ago. Chuck Butler had come from Indiana and met Jay Taylor in Lexington Ky., and followed him to Polly Mott's home.
