Original, quirky and very witty, the hilarious story of 'Moo' - the amazing versatile language of cows - cannot fail to raise a smile. There are high moos and low moos; there are moos that are jiggly and moos that are wriggly. Moos that sound funny through a funnel and even odder in a tunnel. Deborah Fajerman is a gifted new, young author/artist whose lively text and spirited illustrations mark her out as a picture book creator of ingenuity and wit.

About the author (2003)

Deborah Fajerman grew up in London and lives there at present, but many childhood visits to the countryside fostered her fascination with farmyard animals, which remains strong to this day. When she observed cows and sheep standing in their fields, she discovered that if she stood still long enough, they approached her and sniffed her--their way of making friends. From then on, she decided it was both easy and pleasant to converse with cows and sheep in their own languages. She is also the author of" How to Speak Moo!, published by Barron's.
