About the author (2000)

Abrams graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1985. She worked as an insurance defense attorney at a large law firm in Chicago before joining Chicago-Kent College of law where she was the Assistant Dean and Director of Career Services. Currently, she works as a consultant, providing career planning advice to law students and career transition advice to lawyers. In addition, she develops and teaches courses in career development, leadership, and adult learning strategies for the Masters in Training and Development Program at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
