This is a very well-written book. My professor used this in our American Conservatism class, and not only does it give a good timeline about the development of the conservative movement, but it also breaks down the various schools of thought, how they interact (or conflict) with each other, the historical context behind their actions, and what they were aiming for. Its a really interesting read.
