About the author (2009)

Davi-Ellen Chabner's name is synonymous with medical terminology. She was the first to write a text on learning med term by body system using word parts. She is the author of two best-selling medical terminology books-The Language of Medicine, currently in its 12th edition, and Medical Terminology: A Short Course, now in its 9th edition.
