I received this book a long time ago and it was interesting to read, however, I was in an auto accident and I had severe orthopedic injuries and am unable to use the infomation in the book. I passed it on to a friend and he is actually using it. He thinks it is great and very informative. Read full review

Ruth Heidrich received her Ph.D. in Health Management in 1993 and is the author of A Race For Life (Lantern Books, 2000) and The Race For Life Cookbook. She is a certified fitness trainer and holds three world records for fitness for her age group at the renowned Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas.
