Palate-cleanser between Seventh Son and Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade. Gets two stars instead of one because the queen, once queen, was nicely characterized. It was just the getting-to-that-point I didn't buy at all, characterization-wize. But it was just a big ball of fluff. Read full review
