The first half of the book establishes a solid foundation in the wide range of design and production components used to complete a project - type, paper, color, grids, templates, organization and critiquing skills. Real-world constraints like budget, time and output devices are also explored. The second part of the book gives examples of 25 of the most typical projects, including letterhead, reports, brochures and newsletters. Page elements, audience, effect, postal requirements and printing options for each are also provided.
