The book certainly does have some very good referrals to existing resources online, and good perspectives about web based design practices. It has a very elitist tone to it imho, while trying to seem more simplistic and spiritual in context. However, it has every right to. There are very advanced examples and tricks/techniques in CSS I've yet to see produced in any other CSS books which are very valuable for any designer's personal arsenal of tricks. In short, a pretty decent read with some surprises to enhance your skillset with.
