The best book I've ever read. The imagery was brilliant and sucked you in. I felt every ounce of Erik's pain and she captured his character perfectly. She obviously did much research before writing the book because the details are so vivid and accurate. I've read this book again and again and cried every time. I get lost in this novel. Hours pass by when I'm reading it and I don't even notice. It is also one of the most quotable books I've ever seen. I won a prose competition with an excerpt from it. My mother bought it and then passed it down to me, and I genuinely thank her for that.
