Lionboy is about a cat-speaking boy named Charlie who's parents have been kidnapped and so has he. But shortly after he is kidnapped he escapes in the middle of the night and goes on pursuit after his parents. On the way he finds himself on the Circe, a very big circus boat. After a week or so he becomes the lionboy with his friends, the lions. The lions aren't very happy in the circus and Charlie is still in pursuit of his parents, so they plan an escape. Will they escape, and if they do will they find Charlie's parent's? Read to find out.
I gave this book a four stars is because I liked this book a lot, but I've read a couple, and only a couple, of books that I liked more. The reason why I did like this book though is because it made you think in a different way about things, not just in the book but in real life too.
