About the author (2001)

James E. Huston, MD, specialized in obstetrics and gynecology before his retirement. He now lectures across the country on women's health concerns. He is the coauthor of Perimenopause: Changes in Women's Health after Thirty-Five. He lives in Medford, OR L. Darlene Lanka, MD, is director of Women's Health for Kaiser-Permanente Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA, and assistant clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco.
